I was inspired to put together this blog post after watching the first episode of Tony Robbin’s new show, Breakthrough with Tony Robbins. I sat in tears for the hour as I watched Tony work his magic on a beautiful couple stricken by an unbelievable tragedy. Tony has a way with people that is unlike most. First of all he’s an enormous guy at 6’7″! He has a huge presence all around, but a tone that really draws you in. I had the pleasure of meeting him in 2006 when I was brought to Pittsburgh, PA to photograph a speaking engagement he did for one of my corporate clients. I remember how kind he was to me and to everyone he met that day. A few people at the event even taught and influenced him, and to see how he payed homage to those people really showed me and everyone around me that he’s a grateful and humble person. To be such an influential person and humble at the same time is truly admirable in my book!
I really believe in what Tony is doing. I’ve read some of his books and have seen him speak a few times as well. He’s had a major impact on many of my friends’ lives as well. Having someone to guide you and to motivate you through challenging times is invaluable. It can change your life in ways you never imagined. I continue to read Tony’s books as well as other great speakers and authors. It helps me stay focused in my personal and professional life.
I’m really looking forward to the remaining shows on NBC and encourage everyone to catch at least one or two. You’ll be hooked!!!
